For over 65 years the Pomeroy name has been synonymous with hospitality in the peace region. Beginning with the inception of the Pomeroy Hotel in 1941 in Fort St John BC;

True to the Pomeroy name Ralph Pomeroy purchased a hotel where guests could find all the comforts of home with unsurpassed quality. Following in his successful footsteps was his nephew Bob Pomeroy, who soon discovered that he too had a passion for business. A passion that has inspired and changed the landscape of hospitality in the peace region for over 25 years; in 2004 in a tribute to his mentor Bob Pomeroy opened the first Pomeroy Inn & Suites in Grand Prairie AB; where over 60 years later guests can still enjoy the quality, comfort, and value true to the Pomeroy name.

2008 brings the legacy full circle with the passing of the torch and the opening of the 2^nd Pomeroy Hotel in Fort St John BC, a hotel built by Ryan Pomeroy the 3^rd generation of Pomeroy’s to bring innovative and leading edge hospitality to the Peace Region. Currently today there are 7 Pomeroy Inn & Suites operating in Northern Alberta and British Columbia.
